GovConIC.com

GovCon Intelligence Center (GovCon IC): the publication for how public agencies buy, modernize, and evaluate technology.

Government contracting moves on different timelines and rules than commercial health technology, but the same failure modes show up: a procurement written around an incumbent, a modernization project that ships paperwork instead of software, a security review that checks compliance boxes but not the actual attack surface.

GovCon IC covers how agencies buy, how contractors sell, and where the real modernization work happens. We publish it because our work in health IT, payments, and credentialing often has a government buyer or regulator on the other side, and that buyer deserves the same plain argument we give the commercial market.

The site is a work because it owns a corner of the public-sector conversation. It makes our positions legible to program managers, contracting officers, and the vendors who want to bid honestly.
