Write a Proof Plan and Fail Conditions Before Any Trial Starts

The Proof Plan and Failable Pilot form

The chapter “Turn Each Claim Into a Test the Seller Can Fail” builds the Proof Plan, the Fail Condition, the Baseline, and the Failable Pilot. Fill in one plan per claim and have your counsel and the person who will score the result read it before the seller does.

Field Your entry

______

______

Fail Condition: the number, the baseline, the date, and the scorer

______

______

______

The six parts of a Failable Pilot

Check each part before you start.

  • ☐ Acceptance criteria you wrote, before the start.

  • ☐ Your own data and workflow.

  • ☐ A fee you pay.

  • ☐ A fixed end date.

  • ☐ A no-penalty exit, with your data returned and deletion confirmed in writing.

  • ☐ Conversion terms agreed in advance.

If you cannot tick all six, say which is missing and what weakness follows from it, and do not count the pilot as a trial on your terms (rung 5).
