Cut the Roadmap Items That Fail the Two-Sided Test

Run this exercise with product leadership in one session.

1. List every initiative in discovery or prototyping.
2. Run the two-sided test from “Prioritize Work by What It Earns for the Business” on each one: does it clear your economics, and does the customer profit?
3. Cut whatever fails either test from the roadmap in the session, not at a future meeting.
4. Give every survivor a named owner and a stated bet, in writing, before people leave.
