2026-10-01: New book: The Shahid Shah Show Anthology 2026
This volume puts the first ten episodes of The Shahid Shah Show in writing, one chapter for each, so builders and buyers of digital health can read the argument, check the evidence, and take away something to try without an hour of audio. It argues that good technology fails in healthcare when nobody owns the decision or the payment: who pays, who decides, and which work should not exist at all. The chapters cover why healthcare does not reward innovation on merit, prior authorization automation, the assumptions that stall health system deals, what governance is for, deleting unnecessary work before you automate it, a three-part look at tumor testing through a decision-product lens, and where AI belongs in a health system. Where a chapter relies on a figure that has a source, the book names the source, and where it rests on Shahid’s own experience it says so. The volume is a running one: it is rebuilt with a new chapter each time an episode goes on demand, and in January 2027 it closes and is published as a book of its own, with a preface on what the year’s episodes add up to.
