Log the Help Flag and the Actor with Every Event on the Path

Sample instrumentation schema

Companion to The Product Manager’s New Job Is Acceptance · Updated 2026-09-30

The chapter “Instrument Each Transition on the Path” gives ten questions to ask of every transition. This page turns them into a sample event. Adapt the names to your system, and do not collect personal or regulated data you do not need.
