Score yourself zero to four on each statement.
- A named owner exists for every stage of the Completion Loop.
- You track and review at least four of the metrics from “AI Makes Drafts Cheap, So Finishing Is the Constraint” monthly.
- Governance Latency has a stated target and moves toward it.
- You measure Integration Debt rather than estimate it.
- Your executives name the current constraint stage identically, without conferring.
- Portfolio Completion Rate has held flat or improved for two straight quarters under rising generation volume.
The highest possible score is 24. Read your total against the AI Maturity Ladder:
| Score | Where you are |
|---|---|
| Below 12 | AI Theater or AI Productivity |
| 12–18 | AI Capability |
| Above 18, held across two assessment cycles | AI Maturity |
AI Business Advantage has no score here. It happens in the market after Maturity holds long enough for competitors to notice.

“Turn these six statements into a scored assessment my leadership team can finish in fifteen minutes, with anchor descriptions for every level from zero to four. Then draft the debrief questions I should ask when two executives score the same statement three points apart. Keep the individual scores in a tool my organization has approved, since this becomes performance data about named people.”
