Coaching Guides for Every Seat in the C-Suite
The AI Maturity Ladder, a coaching guide for each executive seat, and a ninety-minute board workshop, all built on Completion Engineering.
Companion to The Code Takes Care of Itself · Updated 2026-09-29
These pages help you coach your CEO and your board through a discipline neither was hired to know: Completion Engineering, the argument of “AI Makes Drafts Cheap, So Finishing Is the Constraint.” They also carry a guide for each other seat on the executive team. Use them before the abundance shows up in a board deck.
Start with the AI Maturity Ladder, because every guide assumes you know which rung your organization sits on.
What is here
- The AI Maturity Ladder
- Guides by seat: CEO, board of directors, COO, CFO, Chief Product Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, and Chief Customer Officer
- The ninety-minute board workshop
How each guide is built
Every guide gives the seat’s core point, questions to ask in your next one-on-one, and up to five checks: a signal of success, a signal of failure, the common misconception, a recommended intervention, and a warning sign. Where a guide includes a “Try this with AI” prompt, use an assistant your organization has approved for internal material, and strip names first.
